C4T #3

For my C4T #3, I was assigned to Beth Knittle's blog Beth's Thoughts on Technology in the Classroom. Beth is the K-12 Technology Integration Specialist for the district. She is involved in many learning opportunities and she facilitates many workshops, presentations, and conversations. Her blog focuses on education, technology, and learning.

My first blog post was on the iOS 7 update for the iPhone and other Apple products. This blog was very helpful for me because I have an iPhone and I haven't been to sure to update or not. I am worried I won't like it or I won't know how to use it, but Beth Knittle helped that confusion disappear. Knittle focuses on the accessibility features such as the color schemes and text overlay rather than the update as a whole. She is about to dig deep into the iOS updates, take screenshots of everything and offer resources to use for those that just have questions. She included a list of different sites to use for the iOS 7 that can be extremely helpful if the update was for you.

Hello,
My name is Haley Smith, and I am a student in EDM310 at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. I was assigned your blog to comment and summarize for class. I have an iPhone and I have yet to update my phone to the iOS 7. I am just worried that I will hate it and there wouldn't be a way change it back. I really like all of the resources you provided to  learn more about the iOS 7 and I will enjoy looking through them in due time.

Post #2 - Getting Into Gaming

This post describes a course that her son is taking learning the behind the scenes of games. I really like this because it focuses on how the game is made and how the character is programmed to think. She shared Extra Credits by Penny Arcade with her readers. This is a series of podcasts on gaming and the industry of games. She encourages us to pass it along

to those that like gaming and those that want to know how something works internally. My fiance, Justin would love reading this so this is something that I would share with him.

My name is Haley Smith, and I am a student in EDM 310 at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. This is something that I will have to share with my fiance. He LOVES video games and his friends do as well. He is always interested in finding how things work and the basics behind the game even to the more explained concepts. Thank you for sharing this resource.
